I bought some 3 week old babies from a lady(no names) but when i got them home after the long trip they had to come on they all had crusty eyes and runny noses. 4 are doing much better. but one little sow is still crusty and very small. i have her in with a momma sow, but she is still small. She eats well and runs around none acted sick, but worried. I wipe her eyes twice daily with warm water. I have had them 2 weeks. Help what can I do to fatten her up and get her eyes clear. Never had this before. My babies have always been healthy. I wont buy shipped piggies again.

I introduced a guinea pig to my two females about a year ago. It was my first time and very stressful, but today all three cavies are getting along just fine!

Just use caution when you are introducing and pay attention to their sounds and body language - generally they can work out their differences in no time. wHeEkK!! - Hammy from HappyCavy.com
